VITEEE 2024: Exam Dates

VITEEE 2024 is going to be conducted between the 19th to 30th of May 2024. The application process has already started from November 1st, 2023. Interested candidates can certainly apply online at https://viteee.vit.ac.in with a valid email id and mobile number. Candidates are advised to fill in all correct details of their academics and identity.

Candidates are advised to attempt more of the mock tests facilitated by the VIT Vellore online to be aware of the question pattern and the syllabus covered during the exam preparation. VITEEE 2024: Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must be a Resident/Non-Resident Indian/OCI/PIO

• Candidates must have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and adequate proficiency in English.

• Candidates must have scored 60% aggregate in the PCM and 50% in the same for the reserved category.

• Candidates born on or after July 1st, 2002 are eligible for the VITEEE 2024.

• NRI Applicants can directly apply under the ‘NRI category’ through https://vit.ac.in/admissions/international/overview 

• Candidates who have passed with a 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with adequate proficiency in English are only eligible for certain engineering programs with the same duration in different campuses. The following branch details are mentioned.

VITEEE 2024: Application Form

VITEEE 2024 is going to be held between 19th April to 30th April 2024. Prior to that candidates need to apply online for the exam with certain details and uploading of documents followed by the payment of Application Fees.

How to Apply for VITEEE 2024?

Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to fill out the application form online to appear for the VITEEE 2024.

VITEEE 2024 Registration: At the very first candidates need to create a new register by providing a valid email id and a mobile number, which will be used for future communication and to access the application form for future correspondence.

VITEEE 2024 Form Filling: After registration, candidates need to fill out the application form carefully. Candidates need to provide academic details, personal and family details, correspondence address, and parents' details. Candidates need to provide preferences for the exam centers and candidates are advised to choose at least 3 exam centers of their choices based on their convenience.

Uploading of Documents: Candidates then need to upload the documents i.e. Photograph of the Candidate and the Signature of the same in the prescribed format.

VITEEE 2024 Application Fee: Candidates need to pay online Rs. 1350 for the application fee which is neither refundable nor transferable. Irrespective of the gender, caste, and reservation category; candidates need to pay the application fee.

VITEEE 2024: Exam Pattern

VITEEE 2024 is going to be conducted between April 19th to 30th, 2024 tentatively and so the candidates who are interested in pursuing the Undergraduate Engineering programs from any one of the campuses of VIT Vellore, VIT Bhopal Campus, VIT Chennai Campus or VIT-AP Amravati Campus, must be aware of the exam pattern and the marking scheme so that they can prepare accordingly and attempt more of their mock tests offered by the VIT Vellore itself. VITEEE 2024 will be 2 hours 30 minutes (150 minutes) long without breaks and consist of 5 separate parts.

Part 1: Mathematics

Part 2: Physics

Part 3: Chemistry

Part 4: English

Part 5: Aptitude  

All questions will be of objective type and carry 1 mark for each correct answer and there will be no negative marking for any wrong attempt. There will be no mark for unattempted questions. Candidates can skip a question if do not want to attempt. The computer will not allow any candidate to select more than 1 answer (considering the correct answer).

VITEEE 2024: Syllabus

VITEEE 2024 is conducted once a year and offers a range of excellent programs with a spectrum of specializations. Candidates preparing to pursue Undergraduate Degree Programs in a spectrum of specializations must be familiar with the syllabus of the VITEEE 2024. As per the latest brochure published on the VIT Vellore official website; the syllabus will be of the 11th and 12th standard of NCERT.
