Al-Ameen Medical College at Bijapur in the state of Karnataka was started in the month of September 1984. This is a privately owned college popularly known as AMC, Bijapur, and well known for its world-class infrastructure and research center. The college premises spread over 200 acres of land on western hills in the historical city of Bijapur. Al-Ameen Medical college building consists of a 500-bed main hospital equipped with modern amenities to cater to the needs of the people of Bijapur.

• Candidates need to obtain a minimum of 50 percentile in NEET-PG for General Category and for reserved category, the requirement is 40 percentile in the same.

All the admissions to any of the UG and PG Courses are strictly based on merit gained in the All India Entrance Exam i.e. NEET-UG and NEET-PG for Postgraduate courses. AMC, Bijapur offers MD and MS Courses in several clinical and para-clinical specializations.. 

Students who wish to take admission in this college, need to obtain the required percentile in NEET followed by the counseling conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority, Bangalore.
