Candidates seeking allotment to MBBS Medical/Dental (MBBS/BDS) Courses in Govt. colleges/Govt. Quota seats in Private Colleges/Management Quota seats and minority quota seats (Telugu & Christian) in Private colleges and NRI seats in MBBS Dental (BDS) Courses should apply online through the official website of CENTAC i.e. https://centacpuducherry.in. • An application must be submitted online through the website https://centacpuducherry.in.

• Candidates need to produce certificates in support of Residence/Community/PwD/Linguistic Minority etc. should be valid and obtained from the respective competent authorities.

• Residence and community certificates issued by the Revenue Department, Govt. of Puducherry will be solely considered for claiming reservation benefits under Govt./Christian/Linguistic Minority Quota.

• Candidates should register and log in to fill in all relevant details. Only on payment of the application fee, the candidate will be allowed to enter preferences of courses.

• Claim exercised by the candidates about Residence/Community/Special Category is subjected to verification of the submitted documents and cannot be changed, once the final merit list is published.

• Candidates must have qualified for NEET-UG 2024.

• Candidates must have the domicile of Puducherry for government quota seats (Differ for NRI/Management Quota)

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as Core subjects with a minimum of 50% marks, 40% marks are required for SC/ST Category candidates.

• The candidates should have completed 17 years of age as of Dec 31st, 2024. Candidates born on or after Jan 2nd, 2007 will not be entertained.

As per the merit list prepared by CENTAC Puducherry, shortlisted candidates will be called for CENTAC NEET MBBS Counselling 2024. However, from 2021 onwards, CENTAC NEET MBBS Counselling 2021 is conducted in an online mode. 

The following sequence of events has to be followed in the counselling process to secure MBBS/BDS seat in the medical institutes of Puducherry. 

• Participating candidates need to register themselves on the Online Portal of CENTAC NEET MBBS Medical Admission 2024-23 at https://centacpuducherry.in.

• Post-registration on the counselling portal of CENTAC Puducherry, candidates will be asked to fill in their college preferences.

• Based on the choices filled and seat matrix CENTAC, Puducherry releases the provisional merit list followed by the final CENTAC Puducherry MBBS medical seat allotment list.

• Further candidates will have to submit the part academic fee to confirm their seats.

• Candidates, whose names are included in the seat allotment of CENTAC Puducherry NEET MBBS Medical/Dental will be required to download their allotment letter from the CENTAC Portal at https://centacpuducherry.in.  

• Shortlisted candidates are then required to report to the allotted college for payment of the balance admission fee, document verification, and reserving the allotted medical/dental admission seat.
