BITS Pilani is a deemed to be University well known for its technological advancement and quality academics. To pursue Integrated First Degree Programmes of BITS Pilani for its Campuses at Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad; candidates need to qualify for BITSAT 2024 followed by the Online counselling conducted by BITS Pilani. BITSAT 2024 is conducted twice a year in separate sessions separated by a few weeks. Candidates can participate in both sessions as per their choice. The exam is solely conducted by BITS Pilani in online mode at the choice of centers by the candidates. The integrated first-degree programs are offered in B.E., M.Sc., and B.Pharm specializations. BITSAT 2024: Exam Dates

BITSAT 2024 is going to be conducted in May’2024. Applications will be invited from the last week of January. However, there is no official notification has been published yet. 

Candidates are advised to attempt more of the mock tests facilitated by the BITS Pilani online to be aware of the question pattern and the syllabus covered during the exam preparation. BITSAT 2024: Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (Except for B.Pharm) and adequate proficiency in English.

• Candidates must have scored 75% aggregate in the PCM and 60% at least in Physics, Chemistry, and English each.

• Candidates who passed 12th in 2022 or earlier are not eligible for the BITSAT 2024.

• BITS Pilani offers direct admission to any First Degree Integrated program to the Board toppers of any state within India in their choice of Branch in BITS Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad Campuses.

• Candidates must have obtained the age of 16 Years on 1.1.2024. Candidates below this age shall not be considered for admission to BITSAT 2024.  

• Candidates opting to pursue B.Pharm from BITS Pilani, K.K. Birla Goa or Hyderabad campus must have scored 75% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with adequate proficiency in English. However, 60% marks in each PCB is mandatory to be eligible for BITSAT 2024.

BITSAT 2024: Application Form

BITSAT 2024 is going to be held in May 2024. Before that candidates need to apply online for the exam with certain details and uploading of documents followed by the payment of Application Fees.

How to Apply for BITSAT 2024?

Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to fill out the application form online to appear for the BITSAT 2024.

BITSAT 2024 Registration: At the very first candidates need to create a new register by providing a valid email id and a mobile number, which will be used for future communication and to access the application form for future correspondence.

BITSAT 2024 Form Filling: After registration, candidates need to fill out the application form carefully. Candidates need to provide academic details, personal and family details, correspondence address, and parents' details. Candidates need to provide preferences for the exam centers and candidates are advised to choose at least 3 exam centers of their choices based on their convenience.

Uploading of Documents: Candidates then need to upload the documents i.e. Photograph of the Candidate and the Signature of the same in the prescribed format.

BITSAT 2024 Application Fee: Since BITSAT 2024 is going to be conducted in two different sessions separated by a few weeks, candidates can opt to participate in session 1, session 2, or both. Application fees for each session or both sessions for male and female candidates are mentioned below.

• Please note that the application fee is neither refundable nor transferable. 

• Candidate appears twice in BITSAT 2024 and then seeks admission to any of the first degree programs in BITS Pilani, the higher of the two scores shall be considered for admission.

BITSAT 2024: Exam Pattern

BITSAT 2024 is going to be conducted in May 2024 and so the candidates who are interested in pursuing the First Degree Integrated program from any one of the campuses of BITS Pilani, K.K. Birla Goa Campus or Hyderabad Campus, must be aware of the exam pattern and the marking scheme so that they can prepare accordingly and attempt more of their mock tests offered by the BITS Pilani itself. Each session of BITSAT 2024 will be 3 Hours (180 minutes) long without breaks and consist of 4 separate parts.

Part 1: Physics

Part 2: Chemistry

Part 3: English Proficiency and Logical Reasoning

Part 4: Mathematics or Biology (For B.Pharm Candidates)  

All questions will be of objective type and carry 3 marks for each correct answer however there will be a negative marking for each wrong attempt. There will be no mark for unattempted questions. So candidate are advised to select their options wisely. Candidates can skip a question if do not want to attempt. The computer will not allow any candidate to select more than 1 answer (considering the correct answer).

BITSAT 2024: Syllabus

BITSAT 2024 is conducted twice a year and offers a range of excellent programs with a spectrum of specializations. Candidates preparing to pursue the First Degree Integrated Programs must be familiar with the syllabus of the BITSAT 2024. As per the latest brochure published on the BITS Pilani official website; the syllabus will be of the 11th and 12th standard of NCERT.
