Ananta Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre is the very recently established private medical college with an attached multispecialty hospital in the city of Rajsamand. The college was established in 2015 with the purpose to train dedicated students to manage, run and provide health care across the country. 

Ananta Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre is popularly known as AIMS&RC, Rajsamand. AIMS&RC, Rajsamand is an unaided private charitable educational institution. The college is established by the Ananta Charitable Educational Society. AIMS is affiliated with Rajasthan University of Health Sciences, Jaipur. All courses and infrastructure developed in the college are well approved by National Medical Commission which was previously administered by MCI, New Delhi. 

The college is integrated with a multispecialty teaching hospital with 730 beds. More details will be discussed in the article below. Currently, AIMS, Rajsamand provides admission to UG Courses in Medicine and Nursing. MBBS in AIMS, Rajsamand requires certain eligibility discussed in the article later.

Ananta Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre located in the district of Rajsamand in the state of Rajasthan is one of the most suitable medical colleges to pursue medical study. One needs to fulfill certain eligibility criteria in order to get admission to the AIMS, Rajsamand.

For MBBS Aspirants:

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English having 50% marks from any recognized board. Candidates from the reserved category need to possess 45% in the same. 
• Candidates need to attain 17 years of age. Less than mentioned age will not be entertained in any circumstances.
• Candidates must have qualified NEET-UG with the required percentile. 

For B.Sc Nursing:

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English at its core subjects having 45% marks from any recognized board. There is no such minimum marks assigned for reserved category students.
• Candidates appearing in the 10+2 examination in Science conducted by the National Institute of Open School with 45% marks are also eligible for B.Sc Nursing.
• The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st Dec of the year in which admission is sought. Less than mentioned age will not be entertained in any circumstances.  

For GNM Nursing:

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English with an aggregate of 45% marks from any recognized board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent board.
• For ANM/LMV, 10+2 class passed preferably PCB with English or 10+2 passed in Arts Vocational Stream from any recognized board are also eligible for ANM Program.
• The minimum age for admission into GNM Nursing will be 17 and 35 years. However, for ANM/LMV, there is no such age limit prescribed. The student should be medically fit.

All the admissions to any of the UG and Degree Courses are strictly based on merit gained in the All India Entrance Exam i.e. NEET-UG. AIMS&RC, Rajsamand offers B.Sc Nursing and GNM Courses along with the ANM and LMV Programs. 

Students who wish to take admission in this college, need to obtain the required percentile in NEET followed by the counseling conducted by SMS Medical College and Hospital, Jaipur. For All India Quota seats, students need to participate in the counseling conducted by MCC.

Ananta Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre, Rajsamand offers Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery. The degree conferred by the AIMS, Rajsamand is approved by National Medical Commission, New Delhi.
