Ashwini Rural Medical College Hospital and Research Center is the very first private Medical College in the Solapur district in the state of Maharashtra. It was established in 2012 and in such a short period, the college has gained much appreciation from the competent medical bodies of the state. ARMCH, Solapur is well approved by the National Medical Commission (Earlier MCI), New Delhi. Since the inception of the college, it has been affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik. However, the college has been a constituent of M.M. Patel Public Charitable Trust, Solapur.

ARMCH, Solapur was founded to promote the best in medical education and to produce doctors with global standards. Ashwini Medical College is committed to providing world-class health services to the needy and poor people of the nearby community on a Non-Profit basis.

The college campus is huge in size and infrastructure. There is an integrated Advanced Hospital equipped with 520 beds. There are all the modern medical and surgical facilities in the hospital of ARMCH, Solapur. ARMCH, Solapur is recognized by UGC, an autonomous body of the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India.

Eligibility Criteria:

Ashwini Rural Medical College offers MBBS at the Undergraduate level and MD, MS at the Postgraduate level. ARMCH, Solapur is a privately established medical Institution in the state facilitating with appropriate reservation as per the order mentioned by DMER, Mumbai. To secure a seat in MBBS and PG Courses in ARMCH, Solapur, the candidates need to hold certain eligibility criteria which are discussed below.

For MBBS Aspirants:

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English having 50% marks from any recognized board. Candidates from the reserved category need to possess 40% in the same. 
• Candidates need to attain 17 years of age till 31st of Dec. Less than mentioned age will not be entertained in any circumstances.
• Candidates must have qualified NEET-UG with the required percentile. 

For MD/MS Aspirants:

• Candidates must have passed MBBS from a recognized University by the NMC.
• Candidates need to have completed 1 Year of mandatory Internship on or before 31st of March in the same year of applying.
• Candidates need to produce permanent/provisional registration provided by the NMC (Earlier MCI) or the respective state medical council.
• Candidates need to obtain a minimum of 50 percentile in NEET-PG for General Category and reserved category, the requirement is 40 percentile in the same.

Admission Process:

All the admissions to any of the Medical Courses in ARMCH, Solapur are strictly based on merit gained in the All India Entrance Exam i.e. NEET-UG and NEET-PG for Postgraduate courses. Ashwini Rural Medical College & Hospital, Solapur offers MD and MS Courses in several Clinical and Non-Clinical programs. 

Students who wish to take admission in this college, need to obtain the required percentile in NEET followed by the counselling conducted by Maharashtra CET. As one of the Newest Private Medical Colleges in the Southern region of Maharashtra, Ashwini Rural Medical College, Solapur is imparting several Advanced Postgraduate Medical Courses. At present, ARMCH offers MD in several Clinical and Non-Clinical specializations along with MS in Orthopaedics and ENT, etc with a duration of 3 years. All the admissions to these PG Courses in the ARMCH, Solapur are based on the score of NEET-PG followed by the centralized counselling conducted by the Maharashtra Cet, Mumbai on the behalf of DMER, Mumbai. 

Candidates need to participate in the counseling conducted by MahaCET for distinct quotas. The Parent organization of Ashwini Hospital & Research Center is M.M. Patel Public Charitable Trust. The Trust had begun its humble starting with laid a foundation with 520 bedded modern hospital. The objective behind the establishment was to cater health needs of poor and needy people of the Solapur region. ARMCH, Solapur is fully committed towards the betterment of healthcare facilities in the region nearby.
