Assam NEET Counselling 2024 schedule is soon to be announced. DME Assam is the counselling authority to conduct MBBS/BDS Counselling for the seats offered by medical colleges in Assam. As far as MBBS/BDS seats are concerned, there are 1600 UG medical seats and 150 BDS seats in total. There are a total of 13 medical colleges in Assam including Tinsukia Medical College that have recently granted permission for an intake of 100 MBBS seats.

Assam NEET Counselling 2024 is a centralized online counselling process conducted by DME Assam. The sole authority to conduct online Assam MBBS Counselling 2024 is the Directorate of Medical Education i.e. DME, Assam.
Candidates need to visit the official website at https://dme.assam.gov.in for registration based on the NEET UG 2024 Score. Candidates can apply to MBBS/BDS Courses in government medical colleges in the state of Assam. As of now, there is no private medical college in Assam.
Admissions to the Medical/Dental/Ayush colleges of Assam are solely based on the NEET UG 2024 score. Candidates who are qualified for NEET UG 2024 can only participate in the Assam MBBS Counselling 2024. The details are shared in the article below.
Candidates have to register on https://dme.assam.gov.in and submit the counselling fee which is Rs. 500 (Irrespective of the category) through Internet banking or any online mode.
DME Assam will publish the Assam MBBS 2024 seat allotment list for the qualified candidate as per the secured marks and required percentile. Selected candidates will be allowed to participate in further events of Counselling.
