BGS Global Institute of Medical Sciences is one of the newly established private medical colleges in the state of Karnataka. The medical institute is popularly known as BGS Global Medical College, Bangalore. BGS Global Medical Institute was established in 2013 by Sri Adichunchanagiri Shikshana Trust. The parent organization is a private charitable trust, established in 1973. More than 400 educational institutions have been established so far by the same trust since its foundation. AIMS, Bangalore is one of its constituent units, which is a premier medical institute in Bangalore.

• Candidates must have qualified NEET-UG with the required percentile. 

For MD/MS Aspirants:

• Candidates must have passed MBBS from a recognized University by the NMC.
• Candidates need to have completed 1 Year of mandatory Internship on or before 31st of March in the same year of applying.
• Candidates need to produce permanent/provisional registration provided by the NMC (Earlier MCI) or the respective state medical council.
• Candidates need to obtain a minimum of 50 percentile in NEET-PG for General Category and for reserved category, the requirement is 40 percentile in the same.

BGS Global Medical College, Bangalore: Admission Process

All the admissions to any of the UG and PG Courses are strictly based on merit gained in the All India Entrance Exam i.e. NEET-UG and NEET-PG for Postgraduate courses. BGSGIMS, Bangalore offers MD and MS Courses in several clinical and para-clinical specializations. Offered seats are recognized from NMC, New Delhi and several seats are yet to be recognized, so as for now those seats reflect permitted status.

Students who wish to take admission in this college, need to obtain the required percentile in NEET followed by the counseling conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority, Bangalore. For All India Quota seats, students need to participate in the counseling conducted by the same. The college offers an MBBS Program that carries a duration of 4.5 years of Academic Course and 1 year of Mandatory Internship. The entire duration of the course is 5.5 years. 

Aspirants seeking admission to BGSGIMS, Bangalore need to qualify for NEET-UG. Candidates are required to go through a centralized Counselling process conducted by KEA, Bangalore. 

All rounds of Counselling are held online.
