Bihar MBBS Counselling 2024 schedule is soon to be announced. MCC Registration for All India Quota schedule is announced and it will be started on 14 August 2024 for the first round. There are 2 new medical colleges in Bihar would be functioning from 2024 onwards, Himalaya Medical College Patna and Shyamlal Chandrasekhar Medical College Khagaria with an anuual intake of 200 MBBS seats collectively.

Bihar MBBS Counselling 2024: Counselling Process

Bihar NEET UG Counselling 2024 is a state centralised online counselling process. Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board i.e. BCECE, Patna is the sole authority to conduct online NEET UG Counselling 2024 is.

Candidates need to visit the official website at https://bceceboard.bihar.gov.in for registration based on NEET UG Score 2024. Candidates can apply to MBBS/BDS Courses in various Government/Private medical colleges in the state of Bihar.

Bihar has 13 Government medical colleges that offers 430 MBBS seats through All India Quota. To take participate in NEET UG Counselling 2024, All India Quota seats in MBBS/BDS in medical colleges, Candidates have to register at https://mcc.nic.in. 

A total of 3 rounds of counselling take place followed by a stray vacancy round of NEET UG Counselling 2024 is subject to the availability of MBBS/BDS Seats after the mop-up round. Admissions to the Medical/Dental/Ayush colleges of Bihar are solely based on the NEET UG 2024 score. Detailed information is shared in the article below.

Registration: 

By entering NEET UG 2024 Roll no. and Date of Birth followed by a verification link to provide registered mobile no. and e-mail ID, candidates can register for Bihar NEET UG Counselling 2024 at https://bceceboard.bihar.gov.in. The candidate must keep the User ID and password confidential. The registered e-mail ID provided by the candidate will be the User ID for further communication. 

Personal Details:

After successful registration, candidates need to sign in to the account created and fill in the required personal details. Click on the “Save & Continue” button. The details comprised will be the name, parents' name, academic details, address, and other relevant details of the candidate.

Upload Photo & Signature:

Following providing personal details, candidates then need to upload a photo as per the required dimension and a bilingual signature (Hindi & English) after scanning the same. After uploading, click on the “Save & Continue” button to move to the next tab.

Educational Details:

After uploading a signature and photograph, candidates then have to fill in the educational details as per the requirement. Then click on the “Save & Continue” button again.

Preview Application:

This is the last step before paying the counselling fee. Candidates can edit the details they provided and upload them. They need to click on the “Back to Edit” button. Thereafter “Confirm & Submit” button to finally register on the BCECE Portal at https://bceceboard.bihar.gov.in.

Counselling Fee:

To ensure successful registration, candidates need to pay the counselling fee. For that, they must click on the “Proceed to Payment” button. Multiple options are being facilitated by the BCECE Board Patna. Candidates can either deposit Bank Challan offline or pay Online mode through Credit Card/Debit Card/ Internet Banking.

Note: There will be a stray vacancy round from 2024 onwards, the last round is subject to the availability of vacant seats, non-reported or non-attended seats. Candidates must be aware that only those candidates will be eligible for the last round who have already registered for Bihar MBBS Counselling 2024 in round 1.

Bihar MBBS Counselling 2024: Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have qualified for NEET-UG 2024.

• Candidates must have the domicile of Bihar (Differ for Management/NRI Quota)

• Candidates must have passed 12th from a recognized board

• Candidates must have attained 17 years of age on Dec 31st, 2024 (born on or after 31st Dec 2007)

Bihar MBBS Counselling 2024: Reservation Criteria

Bihar MBBS Counselling 2024: MBBS/BDS Seat Matrix

Bihar MBBS Counselling 2024 schedule is soon to be announced by BCECE Board Patna. Candidates must be aware of the seat matrix before participating in the MBBS Counselling 2024 process. 

As of now, there are 23 medical colleges including the 10 private medical colleges. There are a total of 2865 MBBS seats being offered by the Medical Colleges in Bihar. AIIMS Patna, IGIMS Patna, and ESIC Hospital Phulwarisharif are among the top medical colleges in Bihar. Additionally 2 new private medical colleges have also got permitted by the NMC New Delhi to impart undergraduate medical education to 200 MBBS seats. One college is located in teh capital city of Patna namely Himalaya Medical College and Hospital and another one is Shyamlal Chandrashekhar Medical College located in Khagaria.
