CENTAC Puducherry 2022-23: Counselling Process

Candidates seeking allotment to PG Medical/Dental (MD/MS/MDS) Courses in Govt. colleges/Govt. Quota seats in Private Colleges/Management Quota seats and minority quota seats (Telugu & Christian) in Private colleges and one NRI seat in PG Dental (MDS) Course should apply online through the official website of CENTAC i.e. https://centacpuducherry.in. • The application must be submitted online through the website https://centacpuducherry.in.
• Candidates should upload recently renewed, scanned, self-attested photocopies of certificates. Along with original certificates must be produced only at the time of admission.
• Candidates need to produce certificates in support of Residence/Community/PwD/Linguistic Minority etc. should be valid and obtained from the respective competent authorities.
• Residence and community certificates issued by the Revenue Department, Govt. of Puducherry will be solely considered for claiming reservation benefits under Govt./Christian/Linguistic Minority Quota.
• Candidates should register and log in to fill in all relevant details. Only on payment of the application fee, the candidate will be allowed to enter preferences of courses.

• Claim exercised by the candidates with regard to Residence/Community/Special Category is subjected to verification of the submitted documents and cannot be changed, once the final merit list is published.

• In the case of seat allotment in Round 1 and Round 2, only computer-based online allotment is done. Physical counselling or online counselling might be done in the event of a mop-up round.

CENTAC Puducherry 2022-23: Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have qualified for NEET-PG 2022.
• Candidates must have the domicile of Puducherry (Differ for NRI/Other Quota)
• Candidates must have passed MBBS from an NMC Recognized Medical College.
• The candidates must have completed 1 year of Mandatory Internship on or before 31st of March 2022 (For MDS Only)
• The candidates must have completed 1 year of Mandatory Internship on or before 30th of June 2022 (For MD/MS Only)
• Any Candidate who has obtained his/her MBBS degree from outside India must have a qualified FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduate Examination) Screening Test along with 1 year of Internship likely to be complete on or before 31st of Mar, 22.
• Non-Resident Indians are only eligible for the seats under 15% NRI Quota.

As per the merit list prepared by CENTAC, Puducherry, shortlisted candidates will be called for CENTAC NEET PG Counselling 2022-23. However, from 2021 onwards, CENTAC NEET PG Counselling 2021 is conducted in an online mode. 

Following sequence of events have to be followed in the counselling process to secure a MD/MS/MDS seat in the medical institutes of Puducherry. 

• Participating candidates need to register themselves on the Online Portal of CENTAC NEET PG Medical Admission 2022-23 at https://centacpuducherry.in.
• Post-registration on the counselling portal of CENTAC Puducherry, candidates will be asked to fill their preferences of specialty and colleges.
• Based on the choices filled and seat matrix CENTAC, Puducherry releases the provisional merit list followed by the final CENTAC Puducherry PG medical seat allotment list.
• Further candidates will have to submit the part academic fee to confirm their seats.
• Candidates, whose names are included in the seat allotment of CENTAC Puducherry NEET PG Medical/Dental will be required to download their allotment letter from the CENTAC Portal at https://centacpuducherry.in.  
• Shortlisted candidates are then required to report to the allotted college for payment of balance admission fee, document verification, and reserving the allotted medical/dental admission seat.
