The PES University has invited applications for admission to B.E/B.Tech. programs 2024. The popular name is PESSAT which stands for ‘People’s Education Society Scholastic Aptitude Test’. PESSAT 2024 will be conducted from April 21 to May 12’ 2024.  Registration for the exam is going on from Oct 20, 2023, and will be live till Apr 11’ 2024.

PESSAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria

How to Apply for PESSAT 2024?

Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to fill out the application form online to appear for the PESSAT 2024.

PESSAT 2024 Registration: At the very first candidates need to create a new register by providing a valid email id and a mobile number, which will be used for future communication and to access the application form for future correspondence.

PESSAT 2024 Form Filling: After registration, candidates need to fill out the application form carefully. Candidates need to provide academic details, personal and family details, correspondence address, and parents' details. Candidates need to provide preferences for the exam centers and candidates are advised to choose at least 3 exam centers of their choices based on their convenience.

Uploading of Documents: Candidates then need to upload the documents i.e. Photograph of the Candidate and the Signature of the same in the prescribed format.

PESSAT 2024 Slot Booking and Admit Card: This is the most important step towards appearing in the PESSAT 2024 Exam. Candidates need to book their preferred choice of date and time. Click on the Save button will save your choice of preference. Then after, the admit card will be released and candidates need to download their admit card to appear in the exam. All personal and center details will be printed on the admit card.

PESSAT 2024 Result: The PES University will release the result on May 15th, 2024 of the PESSAT 2024 Exam. Candidates can log in to their account and see their results. PESSAT 2024 Counselling: The qualified candidates in the PESSAT 2024 Exam, then need to participate in the following counselling conducted by the PES University in the Bangalore campus. There are two rounds of counselling conducted by the University.

PESSAT 2024: Exam Pattern

Each session of PESSAT 2024 will be 3 Hours (180 minutes) long without breaks and consist of 4 separate parts.

Part 1: Physics

Part 2: Mathematics

Part 3: Chemistry

Part 4: English  

All questions will be of objective type and carry 1 mark for each correct answer with no negative marking. There will be no mark for unattempted questions. So candidate are advised to select their options wisely. Candidates should attempt all questions rather than unanswered. The computer will not allow any candidate to select more than 1 answer (considering the correct answer).
