A Guide to the Admission Process for B. Pharmacy Students Undergoing NEET UG
For admission to undergraduate medical and dentistry programs in India, the National Testing Agency (NTA) administers the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), a national-level medical entrance test. NEET is also utilized for admission to B.Pharm (Bachelor of Pharmacy), in addition to MBBS and BDS.
The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, Directorate of Ayush, conducts the Ayush NEET counseling process for B.Pharm. Two rounds of counseling are undertaken, both of which are done online.
The following requirements must be satisfied by applicants in order to be eligible for NEET UG Ayush counseling for B.Pharm:
They must have completed the 10+2 exam with a minimum of passing grades in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English.
They had to have received an overall grade of at least 50% (45% for candidates with disabilities and 40% for SC/ST candidates).
As on December 31, 2023, they must be at least 17 years old.
The NTA website is used to submit applications for NEET UG Ayush counseling for B.Pharm students. Between April 1 and May 6, 2023, the NTA website will host the application for NEET UG.
For NEET UG Ayush counseling for B.Pharm applicants, the application fee is INR 2,000 for general/OBC candidates and INR 1,500 for SC/ST candidates. Online payment options for the application fee include debit, credit, and net banking.
The NEET UG merit list The NEET score of the applicant will be used to prepare Ayush counseling for B.Pharm. Following the NEET test, the merit list will be posted on the NTA website.
