A Guide to the Admission Process for NEET UG Ayush Counselling BAMS
For admission to undergraduate medical and dentistry programs in India, the National Testing Agency (NTA) administers the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), a national-level medical entrance test. NEET is also utilized for admission to BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) and other Ayush programmes in addition to MBBS and BDS.
The Ayush Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC) manages the Ayush NEET counseling process for admission to BAMS and other Ayush programs. Two rounds of counseling are undertaken, both of which are done online.
The following requirements must be satisfied by applicants in order to be eligible for NEET UG Ayush counseling BAMS:
They must have completed the 10+2 exam with a minimum of passing grades in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English.
They had to have received an overall grade of at least 50% (45% for candidates with disabilities and 40% for SC/ST candidates).
As on December 31, 2023, they must be at least 17 years old.
The NTA website is used to submit applications for NEET UG Ayush counseling and BAMS. Between April 1 and May 6, 2023, the NTA website will host the application for NEET UG.
For NEET UG Ayush counseling BAMS, the application fee is INR 1,500 for SC/ST applicants and INR 2,000 for general/OBC candidates. Online payment options for the application fee include debit, credit, and net banking.
The candidate's NEET score will be used to create the merit list for NEET UG Ayush counseling BAMS. Following the NEET test, the merit list will be posted on the NTA website.

The AACCC online counseling procedure will be used to allocate seats for NEET UG Ayush counseling BAMS. Based on the applicants' NEET scores, college preferences, and category, seats at BAMS colleges will be assigned to them.
