Dr. Ulhas Patil Medical College & General Hospital is one of the first medical colleges established in the Jalgaon district. The Medical college is popularly known as DUPMC, Jalgaon. DUPMC was established by the ‘Kaveri Foundation’ in 2008 to impart quality education in the field of Medical Science.

DUPMC, Jalgaon is recognized by the National Medical Commission (Earlier MCI), New Delhi, and affiliated with Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik since its inception. Dr. Ulhas Patil Medical College is widely acknowledged for its world-class infrastructure and Multispecialty hospital. DUPMC is the very first privately owned medical college in the Jalgaon district in the state of Maharashtra. The college campus is spread over an area of 33 acres. The present premises of the DUPMC, Jalgaon comprises of College Building, Teaching Hospital, Staff Quarters, Cafeteria, Hostels, Playground, and other amenities. 

In addition to giving its students value-added skills, the DUPMC provides the students a solid foundation base to their medical practice and very much clinical exposure to transform them into an expert of their subjects of interest.

Eligibility Criteria:

Dr. Ulhas Patil Medical College offers MBBS at the Undergraduate level and MD, MS at the Postgraduate level. DUPMC, Jalgaon is a privately established medical Institution in the state facilitating with appropriate reservation as per the order mentioned by DMER, Mumbai. To secure a seat in MBBS and PG Courses in DUPMC, Jalgaon, the candidates need to hold certain eligibility criteria which are discussed below.

For MBBS Aspirants:

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English having 50% marks from any recognized board. Candidates from the reserved category need to possess 40% in the same. 
• Candidates need to attain 17 years of age till 31st of Dec. Less than mentioned age will not be entertained in any circumstances.
• Candidates must have qualified NEET-UG with the required percentile. 

For MD/MS Aspirants:

• Candidates must have passed MBBS from a recognized University by the NMC.
• Candidates need to have completed 1 Year of mandatory Internship on or before 31st of March in the same year of applying.
• Candidates need to produce permanent/provisional registration provided by the NMC (Earlier MCI) or the respective state medical council.
• Candidates need to obtain a minimum of 50 percentile in NEET-PG for General Category and reserved category, the requirement is 40 percentile in the same.

Admission Process:

All the admissions to any of the Medical Courses in DUPMC, Jalgaon are strictly based on merit gained in the All India Entrance Exam i.e. NEET-UG and NEET-PG for Postgraduate courses. Dr. Ulhas Patil Medical College & Hospital, Jalgaon offers MD and MS Courses in several Clinical and Non-Clinical programs. 

Students who wish to take admission in this college, need to obtain the required percentile in NEET followed by the counselling conducted by Maharashtra CET. Only NEET-qualified candidates are eligible to participate in the counselling.

As one of the very first Medical Colleges in the Jalgaon district of Maharashtra, Dr. Ulhas Patil Medical College, Jalgaon is imparting several Advanced Postgraduate Medical Courses. At present, DUPMC offers MD in several Clinical and Non-Clinical specializations along with MS in Orthopaedics and ENT, etc with a duration of 3 years. All the admissions to these PG Courses in the DUPMC, Jalgaon are based on the score of NEET-PG followed by the centralized counselling conducted by the Maharashtra Cet, Mumbai on the behalf of DMER, Mumbai. 

Candidates need to participate in the counselling conducted by MahaCET for distinct quotas. Besides this, MBBS students need to have completed 1 year of rotating internship and must possess permanent/provisional Medical registration provided by the NMC or the respective state medical council. Candidates not having domicile of Maharashtra can only apply for admission through the Management quota.

DUPMC, Jalgaon is one of the reputed Medical Colleges in Maharashtra. The college provides a stipend to the PG students studying Clinical Specialization, right from the first year of their Academics.
