The extreme shortage of medical facilities inspired the founder to establish a world-class medical college at vilad ghat, Ahmednagar. 

This Medical Institution is popularly known as VIMS i.e. Vitthalrao Institute of Medical Sciences, Ahmednagar established in 2004. VIMS, Ahmednagar is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik. Currently, the college offers Undergraduate course in Medicine (MBBS) with an annual intake of 150 students and as far as the Postgraduate programs are concerned, there are 15 Clinical and Non-Clinical specializations are being imparted in the college that is well recognised by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India and all courses of distinct levels are well approved by the National Medical Commission (Earlier MCI), New Delhi.
