Jammu & Kashmir MBBS Counselling 2022: Jammu & Kashmir and UT of Ladakh is home to several top and advanced medical colleges. As per the latest guidelines of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India, on 2022 onwards, Now Jammu & Kashmir and UT of Ladakh is open for All India Quota seats which consist 15% of total seats in the state. Most of the medical institutes in Jammu & Kashmir are government in nature except 1 private medical college in the state. 

In J&K government medical institutes provide Medical/Dental UG courses for 1111 MBBS/BDS seats and 200 seats at Private medical/dental colleges. along with the only Autonomous medical college of the state AIIMS Jammu with 50 MBBS seats. NEET UG 2022 Results have been declared, hence J&K MBBS Counselling 2022 is started on Oct 13th, 2022. 

J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examination, Jammu is the sole competent authority to conduct Jammu & Kashmir MBBS Counselling 2022, Candidates can certainly visit https://jkbopee.gov.in.  However, for 100% seats in Autonomous Medical Institute in Jammu & Kashmir, the MCC i.e. Medical Counselling Committee will carry out the Counselling for All India Quota seats.

Jammu & Kashmir MBBS Counselling 2022: Counselling Process

Jammu & Kashmir NEET Counselling 2022 is a state Centralized Online Counselling Process. The sole authority to conduct online NEET UG Counselling 2022 is the Jammu & Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination.

Candidates need to visit the official website at https://jkbopee.gov.in for registration on the basis of NEET UG Score 2022. Candidates can apply to MBBS/BDS Courses in various Government/Private medical colleges in the state of Jammu & Kashmir.

In order to secure an MBBS seat in Deemed Medical College, Candidates will have to register at https://mcc.nic.in. All rounds of counselling followed by a Mop-Up round of NEET Counselling 2022 is subject to the availability of MBBS/BDS Seats after the 2nd round.

Registration:

• Candidates have to register on the website i.e. https://jkbopee.gov.in and submit the registration fee which is Rs. 1500 through Internet banking or any online mode.
• JKBOPEE, Jammu will publish the J&K NEET UG 2022 state merit list for the qualified candidate as per the secured marks and required percentile. Selected candidates will be allowed to participate in further events of Counselling.

Choice Filling:

• Candidates need to fill in Online choices at the https://jkbopee.gov.in website by using their registration number and Transaction Id generated at the time of registration.
• Candidates have to fill their choices of colleges as per their priority. They can fill choices as many they wish.

Allotment Result:

• Candidates can check the seat allotment status from the J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examination, Jammu at https://jkbopee.gov.in.  
• Candidates are advised to download their allotment letter which needs to be produced at the time of reporting to the allotted college.
• Seats are allotted to the candidates on the basis of rank, scored marks, and the choices of their preferences.

Reporting to Allotted College:

• This is the final event when the candidates need to report to the allotted college with an allotment letter before the last date of admission.
• Seats will be considered as confirmed, once the fee payment and verification of documents will be taken place.

There will be a Mop-Up round after Round 2. Mop-Up/Final round is taken place when seats remain vacant after round 2 on the ground of non-Availability or Non-Reporting of the candidates. J&K NEET UG Counselling 2022: Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have qualified for NEET-UG 2022.
• Candidates must have a domicile of Jammu & Kashmir/Ladakh (Differ for All India Quota)
• Candidates must have passed 12th from any recognized board.
• Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as Core subjects with a minimum of 50% marks, 40% marks are required for SC/ST Category candidates.
• The candidates should have completed 17 years of age as of Dec 31st, 2022. Candidates born on or after Jan 2nd, 2005, will not be entertained. 

J&K NEET UG Counselling 2022: Documents Required

Candidates who are qualified for NEET-UG 2022 conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency), are eligible to participate in the J&K NEET UG Counselling 2022. Among the sequence of events of NEET-UG Counselling 2022 conducted by the J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examination Jammu, the last event is to report to the college before the last date of admission.
