A brief note to all JEE Aspirants :
JEE Mains 2021 i.e Joint Entrance Examination 2021 is going to be unique in many ways. Many additions have been attempted by the Ministry of Education formerly known as the Ministry for Human Resources. All the changes that have taken place will be shared in this article.
From 2021 onwards JEE Mains 2021 is going to be held 4 times a year. The very first entrance exam will be held from 23-26th of Feb 2021 and will be concluded consecutively in Mar, April, and May 2021. This is the very first change that has been introduced by the Ministry of Education Govt. of India, Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal the Education Minister of the country himself stated the changes in the pattern and scheme of the exam. The next alteration that has been made in JEE Mains 2021 Exam is its pattern. According to NTA, National Testing Agency there will be 90 questions asked at the entrance carrying 300 marks in total. For appearing in JEE Mains 2021, certain criteria need to be fulfilled. Students are advised to go through the complete eligibility criteria details so that they can avoid edit stress or disqualification. Following are the eligibility criteria that need to be followed:
Nationality: students across the globe can appear in the JEE Mains 2021 exam.
Age: There is no age limit for JEE Mains 2021. Students who have passed 12th in 2019,2020 or appearing in 2021 can certainly appear in this exam irrespective of his/her age.
Attempt Limit: Candidates will be having 3 consecutive years to attempt in JEE Mains 2021. They can appear separately in Jan and Apr sessions but will be considered as a single attempt.
Educational Qualification: Candidates need to be passed 12th with PCM stream and must obtain 50% marks in Mathematics and must have studied Physics, Chemistry along with Biology and Biotechnology.
The entrance exam fee can only be paid Online. No offline payment is allowed to be made. Students can pay through various payment gateways. They can either choose to pay the fee through Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, or any UPI mode. Students need to pay separately for every attempt in the sessions from Feb to May. However, if a candidate expressed his/her inability to appear in the exam then the registration fee will be refunded. Category-wise application fee details are mentioned below.
