Currently, the state of Jharkhand has 7 Govt. Medical Colleges and 2 Private Medical Colleges. The state of Jharkhand has now witnessed AIIMS, Deoghar, inaugurated just a couple of months back.

Jharkhand NEET UG Counselling 2024: Counselling Process

Jharkhand NEET-UG Counselling 2024 is a state Centralised Online Counselling Process. The sole authority to conduct online NEET-UG Counselling 2024 is the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board, i.e. JCECEB, Ranchi.

Candidates need to visit the official website at https://jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in  for registration based on NEET-UG Score 2024. Candidates can apply to MBBS/BDS Courses in Government/Private medical colleges in the state of Jharkhand.

Admissions to the Medical/Dental/Ayush colleges of Jharkhand are solely based on the NEET-UG 2024 score. Only NEET 2024-qualified candidates can participate in the Jharkhand NEET-UG Counselling 2024. Details are shared in the article below.

Registration:

• Candidates have to register on the website i.e. https://jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in and submit the counselling fee which is Rs. 500/250 through Internet banking or any online mode.

• JCECEB, Ranchi will publish the Jharkhand NEET-UG 2024 State Merit List for the qualified candidate as per the secured marks and required percentile. Selected candidates will be allowed to participate in further events of Counselling.

Choice Filling:

• Candidates need to fill in Online choices at the https://jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in website by using their registration number and Transaction ID generated at the time of registration.

• Candidates have to fill in their choices of colleges as per their priority. They can fill in choices as many as they wish.

Allotment Result:

• Candidates can check the seat allotment status from the JCECEB, Ranchi at https://jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in. 

• Candidates are advised to download their allotment letter which needs to be produced at the time of reporting to the allotted college.

• Seats are allotted to the candidates based on rank, scored marks, and the choices of their preferences.

Reporting to Allotted College:

• This is the final event when the candidates need to report to the allotted college with an allotment letter before the last date of admission.

• Seats will be considered as confirmed, once the fee payment and verification of documents will take place.

Jharkhand MBBS Counselling 2024: Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have qualified for NEET-UG 2024.

• Candidates must have a domicile of Jharkhand (Differ for Management Quota) 

• Candidates must have passed 12th from a recognized board

• Candidates must have attained 17 years of age (born on or after 02-01-2007)

• English must be the core subject among passing subjects of the 12th Board.

• Candidates claiming reservation will have to upload a caste certificate in the proper format, issued by the competent authority- Circle Officer or Sub Divisional Officer- (Civil) or Dy. Commissioner of Jharkhand.

Jharkhand MBBS Counselling 2024: Counselling Procedure

• Candidates must check the Jharkhand NEET State merit list declared on the official website of JCECEB i.e. https://jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in. 

• Candidates included in the merit list for Jharkhand NEET Counselling 2024 will have to report to the designated center with essential documents for Jharkhand NEET Counselling 2024.

• Candidates will have to get their documents verified at the allotted center, followed by the selection of their choice or preference of college and course, considering their rank in the state merit list.

• Candidates, who do not get any seat allotted for themselves in the first round of counselling for Jharkhand NEET will be eligible to participate in the subsequent rounds.
