The state of Himachal Pradesh is known for advanced medical colleges set up by the collective effort of Govt. of Himachal Pradesh and Atal Medical & Research University Mandi. Himachal Pradesh MBBS Counselling 2024 will soon be started after the schedule released by MCC for All India Counselling. NEET-UG 2024 qualified candidates with pre-defined eligibility shall be considered for participating in the Himachal Pradesh MBBS 2024 Counselling process. 

Currently, there are 7 medical colleges in the state of Himachal Pradesh. The schedule has been released by the state's counselling authority, i.e. Atal Medical & Research University Mandi. Candidates can visit https://amruhp.ac.in for the latest counselling updates. Out of 7 medical colleges in Himachal Pradesh, there are 6 government medical colleges and 1 private medical college based in Solan. 

Maharshi Markendeswar Private Medical College is the only private medical college in the state of HP having Management and State quotes seats for the MBBS program. HP MBBS Counselling 2024: Counselling Process

HP MBBS Counselling 2024 is a state-centralised online counselling process. The sole authority to conduct online NEET UG Counselling 2024 is Atal Medical & Research University i.e. AMRU Mandi.

Candidates need to visit the official website at https://amruhp.ac.in for registration based on NEET UG 2024 Score. Candidates can apply to MBBS/BDS Courses in various Government/Private medical colleges in the state of Himachal Pradesh.

For All India Quota seats in MBBS/BDS in medical colleges, Candidates will have to register at https://mcc.nic.in. Four rounds of counselling will take place including a stray vacancy round of NEET UG Counselling 2024 is subject to the availability of MBBS/BDS Seats after the mop-up round.

Admissions to the Medical/Dental/Ayush colleges of Himachal Pradesh are solely based on the NEET UG 2024 score. Detailed information is shared in the article below.

Registration: 

By entering NEET UG 2024 Roll no. and Date of Birth followed by a verification link to provide registered mobile no. and e-mail ID, candidates can register for HP NEET UG Counselling 2024 at https://amruhp.ac.in. The candidate must keep the User ID and password confidential. The registered e-mail id provided by the candidate will be the User ID for further communication. 

Personal Details:

After successful registration, candidates need to sign in to the account created and fill in the required personal details. Click on the “Save & Continue” button. The details comprised will be the name, parents' name, academic details, address, and other relevant details of the candidate.

Upload Photo & Signature:

Following providing personal details, candidates then need to upload a photo as per the required dimension and a signature after scanning the same. After uploading, click on the “Save & Continue” button to move to the next tab.

Educational Details:

After uploading a signature and photograph, candidates then have to fill in the educational details as per the requirement. Then click on the “Save & Continue” button again.

Preview Application:

This is the last step before paying the counselling fee. Candidates can edit the details they provided and upload them. They need to click on the “Back to Edit” button. Thereafter “Confirm & Submit” button to finally register on the AMRU Portal at https://amruhp.ac.in.

HP MBBS Counselling 2024: Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have qualified for NEET-UG 2024.

• Candidates must have the domicile of Himachal Pradesh (Differ for Management/NRI Quota)

• Candidates must have passed 12th from a recognized board with an aggregate score in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English

• Candidates must have attained 17 years of age on Dec 31st, 2024 (born on or after 31st Dec 2007)

HP NEET UG Counselling 2024: Required Documents 

Candidates who are qualified for NEET UG 2024 conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency), are eligible to participate in the HP MBBS Counselling 2024. Among the sequence of events of NEET UG Counselling 2024 conducted by AMRU Mandi, the last event is to report to the college before the last date of admission.

HP MBBS Counselling 2024: Reservation Criteria

HP MBBS Counselling 2024 Schedule is announced. As per the revised circular released by the Department of Medical Education & Research Shimla, certain reservation criteria have been formulated by the state government itself. 

Candidates having a Himachal Pradesh domicile are only eligible to avail the benefits of reservations granted by the state govt. of Himachal Pradesh. More details can be obtained from https://amruhp.ac.in. The detailed percentage of reservations is mentioned below.
