KMCH Institute of Health Sciences & Research is one of the top medical institutes in Tamil Nadu. The institute is an integral unit of The Kovai Medical Center & Hospital Limited. The parent organization was started in 1990 with a 250 bedded medical center and currently, the Kovai Medical Center & Hospital Limited is facilitated with a 1000 bedded facility and evolved to a Multispecialty hospital with super specialty health sciences. KMCH Institute of Health Sciences & Research is popularly known as KMCH IHS&R, Coimbatore.

The Institute has been serving since 1986. In the year 2019, KMCH Limited commenced academic programs for MBBS students. KMCH is recognized by NMC (Earlier MCI), New Delhi. KMCH IHS&R is affiliated with the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University.

KMCH Medical College, Coimbatore offers MBBS at the Undergraduate level. Aspiring students need to qualify in NEET conducted by NTA followed by the counselling conducted by DME, Chennai.

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English having 50% marks from any recognized board. Candidates from the reserved category need to possess 40% in the same.

Students who wish to take admission in this college, need to obtain the required percentile in NEET followed by the counselling conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education, Chennai. For All India Quota seats, students need to participate in the counselling conducted by MCC.
