LN Medical College is one of the Top Premier medical institutions in the capital city of Bhopal. Recently the LNMC, Bhopal has completed a decade of performing outstandingly in producing excellent doctors and other medical professionals. LN Medical College is widely known as LNMC, Bhopal. This medical college was established in 2009 with a vision to encourage medical studies among enthusiastic students and to equip them with expertise and a sense of pride and social responsibility, that they have availed from the college itself.

Initially LNMC, Bhopal was affiliated with Barkatullah University, Bhopal till 2015. After the establishment of LNCT University, Bhopal, the medical college became an integral part of the university and got affiliation from LNCT University itself.

As far as the advanced infrastructure is concerned, LNMC, Bhopal is situated in Kolar, Bhopal, and spread across 40 acres of lush green campus. LNMC, Bhopal is recognized by the National Medical Commission (Earlier MCI), New Delhi, and well approved by MoHFW, Govt. of India. The parent University has got its status of affiliation from the UGC, New Delhi.

LNMC, Bhopal has acquired its recognition and reputation in Central India through its Advanced facilities, amenities and Research works in the field of Medical Sciences. LN Medical College & Hospital, Bhopal: Eligibility Criteria

LN Medical College & Hospital, Bhopal is known for imparting Advanced medical education at distinct levels i.e. UG and PG at the Postgraduate level. Students who are seeking admission to LNMC, Bhopal needs to qualify All India Entrance Test followed by State Medical Counselling and MCC Counselling for AIQ. 

Candidates must be aware that Management/NRI Quota can be claimed on 15% Quota except for 85% state quota. Certain eligibility criteria must be fulfilled to secure a seat in LNMC, Bhopal is mentioned below.

For MBBS Aspirants:

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English having 50% marks from any recognized board. Candidates from the reserved category need to possess 40% in the same. 
• Candidates need to attain 17 years of age. Less than mentioned age will not be entertained in any circumstances.
• Candidates must have qualified NEET-UG with the required percentile. 

For MD/MS Aspirants:

• Candidates must have passed MBBS from a recognized University by the NMC.
• Candidates need to have completed 1 Year of mandatory Internship on or before 31st of March in the same year of applying.
• Candidates need to produce permanent/provisional registration provided by the NMC (Earlier MCI) or the respective state medical council.
• Candidates need to obtain a minimum of 50 percentile in NEET-PG for General Category and for reserved category, the requirement is 40 percentile in the same.

LN Medical College & Hospital, Bhopal: Admission Process

All the admissions to the UG and PG Courses are strictly based on merit gained in the All India Entrance Exam. NEET i.e. National Eligibility Entrance Test is conducted twice a year by NTA (National Testing Agency) to provide admission to LNMC, Bhopal. LN Medical College & Hospital offers MBBS and MD/MS in several Clinical and Para-Clinical specializations.

Students who wish to take admission in LNMC, Bhopal need to obtain the required percentile in NEET followed by the counseling conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education, Madhya Pradesh.

LN Medical College & Hospital, Bhopal: Seat Matrix for Distinct Quotas

As per the collective guidelines of NMC and Directorate of Medical Education, Madhya Pradesh, LNMC, Bhopal offers admission in distinct quotas in the Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in the college itself.

There is a High Court, Jabalpur judgment in 2016, according to which, 85% seats are reserved for state quota only and candidates not having domicile of MP can only claim 15% of seats in the Management/NRI category. Orders are prevailing to MBBS Program. Additionally, 30% of seats in the state quota are reserved for female candidates. Only NEET-qualified candidates are eligible to participate in the counseling.  Necessary details are being mentioned below.

LN Medical College & Hospital, Bhopal offers Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery. The degree conferred by the LNMC, Bhopal is approved by National Medical Commission, New Delhi. 

The MBBS course in LNMC, Bhopal is 5.5 years long including 1 year of mandatory internship. Candidates seeking admission to MBBS in LNMC, Bhopal need to qualify NEET-UG followed by the Counselling conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education, Madhya Pradesh. 

All rounds of counseling are held online. Candidates per secured rank in NEET-UG will be able to acquire a seat and then need to report to the college with essential documents.

College offers several Clinical and Non-clinical courses with a duration of 3 years. All the admissions to these PG Courses are based on the score of NEET-PG. 

Candidates need to participate in the counseling conducted by MCC and the state medical counseling board namely Directorate of Medical Education, MP for AIQ, and State Domicile quotas.
