MCC is the sole authority to conduct MBBS/BDS/B.Sc. Nursing Counselling for All India Quota Counselling 2023.
NEET 2023 is the sole entrance exam to get admission to medical/dental/nursing colleges. Aspirants need to qualify for NEET-UG 2023 followed by the counselling conducted by MCC New Delhi to get admission to any undergraduate program facilitated by different colleges across India.

As per the directives laid down by the National Medical Commission New Delhi and orders passed by Hon’ble Supreme Court, the MCC has been assigned to carry out the counselling process from Round 1 till the stray round from 2021 onwards. As per the latest circular, none of any vacant/unclaimed seats shall be reverted to the respective state.

There are more than 30 new government medical colleges excluding a deemed medical college i.e. MGM Medical College Vashi, that have got permitted to impart the MBBS program from 2023-24 session. These colleges will participate in the centralised counselling conducted by MCC New Delhi for All India Quota seats.
To participate in the All India Quota for Deemed/Central/ESIC and AFMC Institutes, Candidates are required to register themselves at the official website of MCC. Requisite Registration/Counselling fee needs to be paid along with essential academic details, active e-mail ID for future interaction, and preferred colleges.
For the remaining 85% State quota seats, MBBS Counselling will be carried out by distinct state counselling authorities. NEET-UG 2023 Counselling conducted by state medical bodies can be online or offline.

NEET-UG 2023 Counselling process is a pre defined sequence of events that will be going to take place from July 20th 2023. The entire process needs to be participated in for admission to the top medical/dental/nursing colleges across the country. Candidates need to visit https://mcc.nic.in for the latest notices.
Candidates need to register themselves at the official portal of MCC i.e. https://mcc.nic.in.
Enter basic details like Name, DOB, Roll Number, NEET-UG 2023 application form number, and relevant details.
Login Credentials for NEET-UG 2023 Counselling will be generated.
After login, enter personal details like parent details, contact details, and category.
Enter NEET-UG 2023 details such as application number and Roll number.
Candidates will be required to pay the registration fee according to the category that they hold. The registration fee for NEET-UG 2023 Counselling is non-refundable.
Candidates need to pay a security deposit as per their category requirements. Security deposit is refundable however in certain cases, deposits can be forfeited.
Registration fee for NEET-UG 2023 Counselling can only be paid via online mode. Candidates can pay registration fees through Debit/Credit cards and Internet Banking.
Note: For participating in the counselling for 100% Deemed University seats, the candidates need to pay Rs. 5000 irrespective of caste, religion, and category.
After successful payment of NEET-UG 2023 Counselling Registration fee, download the registration slip and keep it safe for future reference.
Choice filling and Locking lead to the final preferred choice of colleges and to attempt this course of Action, Candidates need to visit the MCC portal at https://mcc.nic.in.
Login using the credentials i.e. Stream (Medical/Dental), Roll Number, and Password.
Candidates need to fill in choices of colleges for seat allotment.
The choices filled by MBBS aspirants need to be locked however if one forgets to lock the choices, it will be locked automatically.
Candidates are advised to take a printout of their filled choices for future reference.

NEET-UG 2023 Counselling, seat allotment will be done on multiple factors like NEET-UG 2023 Rank, Choices of Colleges & Courses filled, availability of seats, and reservation criteria.
MCC will release the NEET-UG 2023, seat allotment letters for shortlisted candidates on the official portal of MCC. After having the seat allotment letter, candidates will be required to report to the allotted college. More details can be obtained at https://mcc.nic.in.
From 2023 onwards, candidates need to upload the required list of documents to the MCC portal before reporting to the allotted college. This is an important step that every candidate needs to accomplish.

Candidates falling under the NRI category as per the directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, are eligible for NRI Quota. As per the directions of MCC, 15% of total Undergraduate seats, are reserved for NRI Quota.
The candidates, who wish to claim the NRI Quota seats will have to submit the following documents called for by the MCC. More details can be ascertained at https://mcc.nic.in.
