MECEE Nepal PG 2022: Eligibility Criteria

Students are required to possess certain eligibility to take admission to the medical college of Nepal for PG Courses. Students are advised to check all the eligibility details before appearing in the Entrance Exam. Necessary criteria that need to be followed are as follows:

• Must have MBBS Degree/Equivalent Degree from any recognized Medical University.
• An internship of 1 year after completion of Academics is mandatory.
• Must have Permanent/Provisional Registration provided by MCI (for Indian students) and the same for the students of respective countries.
• The candidates must choose one of the following options while filing up the online application form:
• Foreign Candidates to appear MECEE-PG 2022
• Foreign not to appear MECEE-PG 2022 (Second Category) who has passed NEET-PG (Indian Students).
• The available seats for foreign candidates in the above candidates in academic programs will be up to 10% of the total seats.

MECEE Nepal PG 2022: PG Courses in Nepal

Nepal Education Board is the sole authority to conduct PG Entrance Exams for the Medical Colleges of Nepal. A Number of Post Graduate courses are being pursued by thousands of International Students including Indians. Candidates can apply for registration at https://entrance.mec.gov.np:82

MECEE Nepal PG 2022: Important Date of all PG Courses Entrance Exam

Medical Education Commission calls for the online application to select candidates on a merit basis for the following health professional programs run by all Universities, affiliated colleges, and Health Science Academics throughout the country. 

Application is called from all eligible Nepalese and Foreign candidates from Sep 30th, 2022 to Nov 2nd, 2022. Candidates are required to apply through the official web portal of the Medical Education Commission at https://entrance.mec.gov.np:82. 

MECEE Nepal PG 2022: Procedure for Online Application

To pursue MD/MS in Nepal is worth to be pursued, as there are several Top Medical Colleges in Nepal. • Applicants can pay the entrance fees within ‘deadline for fee deposit’. The bank voucher/payment receipt should clearly contain the transaction number and applicant’s mobile number.
• The application form should be filled-up and submitted online through the MEC web portal at https://entrance.mec.gov.np:82.
• The list of Documents that need to upload at the time of the registration are listed below:
• Last six digits of the transaction reference number and applicant’s mobile number.
• Recent passport size photograph
• Scan copy/photo of Passport
• Scan copy/photo of signature
• Transcript and certificates of relevant MBBS degree or equivalent
• Medical council registration certificate of India
• Once the application is filled, the necessary documents are to be uploaded and the self-declaration is to be done. Candidates are advised to review (edit/save) the application before submission. Once the application is submitted, it is not editable.
• The Confirmation Page will be displayed only after submission of the application. Applicants can save/print it for future reference. It is not admit card but proof for online submission.
• Candidates will be responsible for all travel arrangements. Candidates should abide by the current rules and regulations laid down by the Government of Nepal.
