MAPIMS, Chennai is established in 2008, however, the attached hospital was founded way back in 1986. The college is managed by Adhiparishakthi Charitable Medical, Educational, and Culture Trust based in Kanchipuram, Tamilnadu. MAPIMS, Chennai has slowly developed from a primary health care center to tertiary care to society.
