NEET-UG 2024 Counselling for AIQ seats will commence on August 14, 2024. MCC i.e. Medical Counselling Committee has just released the schedule for All India Quota MBBS Counselling 2024. MCC is the sole authority to conduct MBBS/BDS/B.Sc. Nursing Counselling for All India Quota Counselling 2024. As per the schedule, the first round will start on August 14 and the last date to register for the first round is August 21, 2024.
NEET UG Counselling 2024 comes with an addition of 10,000 new MBBS seats for the NEET UG Counselling 2024. In the current year, there are 100 new medical colleges started delivering academics. As of now, almost every state of the country is now owning at least 4 new medical colleges. Now there will be a total of 1,09,170 MBBS seats and 27,568 BDS seats will be available for the NEET UG counselling 2024.
NEET 2024 is the sole entrance exam for medical/dental/nursing college admission. Aspirants need to qualify for NEET-UG 2024 followed by the counselling conducted by MCC New Delhi to get admission to any undergraduate program facilitated by different colleges across India.

There are more than 52 new government medical colleges have been permitted to impart the MBBS program from the 2024-25 session. These colleges are participating in the centralized counselling conducted by MCC New Delhi for All India Quota seats.
To participate in the All India Quota for Deemed/Central/ESIC and AFMC Institutes, Candidates are required to register themselves at the official website of MCC at https://mcc.nic.in. For the remaining 85% of State quota seats counselling; concerning state authorities conduct MBBS Counselling for the domicile candidates.

NEET-UG 2024 Counselling process is a pre defined sequence of events that will be going to take place from August 14, 2024. Counselling is a very important part of the entire admission process for enrolling to the UG Medical programs across the top medical colleges in the country. Candidates need to register themselves at the official portal of MCC i.e. https://mcc.nic.in.
Enter basic details like Name, DOB, Roll Number, NEET-UG 2024 application number, and relevant details.
Login Credentials for NEET-UG 2024 Counselling will be generated.
After login, enter personal details like parent details, contact details, and category.
Enter NEET-UG 2024 details such as application number and Roll number.
Candidates will be required to pay the registration fee according to the category that they hold. The registration fee for NEET-UG 2024 Counselling is non-refundable.
Candidates need to pay a security deposit as per their category requirements. Security deposit is refundable however in certain cases, deposits can be forfeited.
Registration fee for NEET-UG 2024 Counselling can only be paid via online mode. Candidates can pay registration fees through Debit/Credit cards and Internet Banking.
Note: For participating in the counselling for 100% Deemed University seats, the candidates need to pay Rs. 5000 irrespective of caste, religion, and category.
After successful payment of NEET-UG 2024 Counselling Registration fee, download the registration slip and keep it safe for future reference.
This is an important part of securing a MBBS seat in the preferred choice of college. Candidates need to log in through their application number, and password following by an OTP to the registered mobile number or email id.
There will be a list of all the participating institutes in the NEET UG Counselling 2024, candidates need to select the choices as per their desire based on NEET Score and All India Rank. It is advised to select maximum college as they can,which leads to the most probable chance of getting the same.
Login using the credentials i.e. Stream (Medical/Dental), Roll Number, and Password.
Candidates need to fill in choices of colleges for seat allotment.
The choices filled by MBBS aspirants need to be locked however if one forgets to lock the choices, it will be locked automatically.
Candidates are advised to take a printout of their filled choices for future reference.

NEET-UG 2024 Counselling, seat allotment will be done on multiple factors like NEET-UG 2024 Rank, Choices of Colleges & Courses filled, availability of seats, and reservation criteria.

NEET-UG 2024 Counselling: Required Documents
From 2024 onwards, candidates need to upload the required list of documents to the MCC portal before reporting to the allotted college. This is an important step that every candidate needs to accomplish.
Original documents (along with attested copies of documents) for admission to Undergraduate medical/dental/nursing courses for admission to the allotted college are required at the time of joining. Essential documents that need to be brought up by the candidates are mentioned below.

Candidates falling under the NRI category as per the directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, are eligible for NRI Quota. As per the directions of MCC, 15% of total Undergraduate seats, are reserved for NRI Quota.
The candidates, who wish to claim the NRI Quota seats will have to submit the following documents called for by the MCC. More details can be ascertained at https://mcc.nic.in. First of all certain candidates need to convert their nationality from Indian to NRI by uploading relevant documents mentioned above.
