NEET MDS 2021 is an eligibility cum entrance examination. MDS Stands for Masters in Dental Surgery. It is a postgraduate degree for which admission in Government, Deemed Universities, and Private Dental colleges is granted. The Schedule of the exam and result has been announced which will be shared in the article.

NEET MDS 2021 exam will be conducted in CBT (COMPUTER BASED TEST) Mode. The duration of the NEET MDS 2021 Exam is of 3 hours. The pattern of questions will be of Multiple choice that carries 4 marks for each correct answer and there is also a negative marking of 1 for each wrong answer. No marks will be deducted for unattempted questions. NEET MDS 2021 Exam comprises of two parts i.e Part A and Part B that consist of 100 and 140 questions respectively.
The syllabus for NEET MDS 2021 Exam shall be that of the BDS Standard. Questions of NEET MDS 2020 will cover all the subjects and syllabus taught in the BDS Course as per revised BDS Course Regulations,2007.

Candidates need to secure the required percentile in order to obtain a seat for MDS in Government/Deemed Universities or Private Dental colleges. The cut-off percentile for different categories are as follows :

The eligibility criteria for NEET MDS 2021 are as per the MDS Course Regulations 2017. It is being notified by the Dental Council of India approved by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
Following criteria are required to be fulfilled in order to appear in NEET MDS 2021 :
Degree – Aspirant must be having a BDS degree that needs to be recognized from DCI (Dental Council of India) approved dental college/university.
Registration – The candidate should be registered with the state dental council of the respective state where he/she resides.
Internship – Aspirant must have gone through the compulsory internship of 1 year. Interns who are going to finish their internship on or before 31st March 2021 can also apply.
