The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Postgraduate) is a qualifying examination in India, for the students who aspire to study various postgraduate disciplines like Doctor of Medicine, Master of Surgery and diploma courses, in government, Deemed medical universities or private medical colleges in the country. NEET-PG is a competitive entrance exam conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE).
It is a single window entrance examination for PG courses. Any entrance examination other than NEET, either at state or institution level, shall be void for entry to MD/MS/PG Diploma courses as per the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
NBE has not announced NEET PG 2021 exam date yet. below explained table is the schedule for all the events related to the exam.

Application forms cannot be submitted in the offline/printed copy by post.

In order to secure a PG Seat to pursue specialization in particular discipline in a Medical College in India, One should pass the NEET PG 2021 exam Conducted by NTA (NATIONAL TESTING AGENCY). There is a certain process for Occupying a seat in a Medical College to fulfill One’s Aspiration.
NEET PG 2021 Counselling Schedule
As soon as the NEET results come out, the Schedule for Counselling will be released by MCC India. However it is expected to get the result in the first week of Jan. After the NEET 2020 results are published, the process of Counselling through First Round and Second Round followed by a Mop up Round will begin. NEET 2020 Counselling Eligibility
NEET UG Counselling process will be entirely in Online Mode. Certain process need to be followed in order to participate actively in the Counselling process. Candidates who meet the following criteria can go through the Online NEET PG 2021 Counselling Procedure :
During the NEET PG 2021 Counselling, the procedure of setting preferences is also considered an important factor for seat allotments. The counselling for NEET PG 2021 include processes like Registration, Counselling fee, Choice filling, Seat allotment etc. In order to get a Medical Seat through different quotas let’s have a look at the step by step process :
Registration :
Candidates who obtained the qualifying minimum cut-off in NEET PG 2020 are required to register themselves on the official website of MCC by filling their Personal and Academic details.
Once the registration form is filled, the candidates will have to pay the NEET PG Counselling fee which is non-refundable. Fee can be paid through Debit card, Credit card and Net banking as well. Registration fee for counselling in AIQ/Central Universities is Rs. 1000 for general candidates and Rs. 500 for the candidates belonging to reserved category. However for Deemed Universities the counselling will remain Rs. 5000 for all candidates.
Choice Locking :
This is the next step followed after payment of Registration fee. In this step candidates will have to choose the prefered courses and colleges. It is advised to choose the preferences according to the priority.
Seat Allotment :
After Counselling is over, the MCC will announce the seat allotment result on the basis of choice prefered by the student at the time of choice locking.
Report to the college :
Once a seat is alloted to the student in a specific college prefered by the student at the time of choice locking, He/She must report to the allocated college within the specified time along with carrying all required documents.
Payment of fee :
Students will have to pay the tuition fee to confirm their admission. The tuition fee may vary according to the ownership of the college. Please note that this tuition fee is Refundable unlike Counselling fee.
