NEET UG 2023 Exam: The NTA (National Testing Agency) has declared the NEET UG examination dates for 2023, on the official of NTA (https://nta.ac.in/) according to latest notification released on the Official website, the NEET UG 2023 exam is going to be held on 7th May 2023.
The Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India (GoI) has established the National Testing Agency (NTA) as an independent, autonomous, and self-sustained premier testing organization under the Societies Registration Act (1860) for conducting efficient, transparent, and international standardized tests in order to assess the competency of candidates for admission to premier higher education institutions with a mission to improve equity and quality in education by developing and administering research-based valid, reliable, efficient, transparent, fair, and international level assessments.
The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET-UG) is being conducted by NTA since 2019 for admission to the undergraduate medical education, with the approval of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. NEET (UG) has been a qualifying entrance exam since 2020 for admission to the MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BSMS, BUMS, and BHMS Courses in All the Medical Institution including AIIMS and JIPMER.

The examination pattern of NEET UG 2023 comprises four subjects. Each subject will consist of two sections. Section “A” will consist of 35 Questions and Section “B” will have 15 Questions; candidates are free to choose/attempt any 10 Questions. As given below:

Note: All the questions are MCQ and Correct option marked will be given (4) marks and Incorrect option marked will be minus one (-1) mark. Unattempt/Unanswered Questions will be given no marks.
The National Medical Commission of India has recommended following syllabus to the NTA (National Testing Agency) for National Eligibility -cum-Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2023 for admission to MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BSMS/BUMS/BHMS courses across the country after reviewing the various state syllabi as well as compared by CBSE, NCERT, and COBSE.
