Everything You Need to Know About NEET UG in Haryana


For undergraduate medical and dentistry programmes in India, there is a nationwide admission test called the nationwide Eligibility cum admission Test (NEET). The National Testing Agency (NTA) administers the test.


There are 450 BDS seats and 1100 MBBS seats available in Haryana for NEET UG. Four dentistry schools and 14 medical schools in the state both provide these seats.


The Gurugram-based Haryana State Medical Education and Research Society (HSMERS) oversees the NEET UG counselling procedure for Haryana. There are two stages to the counselling process:

Haryana's NEET UG Eligibility Requirements

They must be an Indian national.

They must have passed a test in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or an equivalent exam in Class 12 or a related topic.

They must get a combined grade of at least 50% in physics, chemistry, and biology (PCB).

As of the exam date, the NEET UG upper age restriction is 25 years old.

Haryana's NEET UG Application Process


In Haryana, the NEET UG application procedure is done online. Applying is done via the NTA's official website. Beginning in April and ending in May is the application procedure.


For applicants in the general category and SC/ST/PwD students, the application cost for NEET UG in Haryana is Rs. 1400 and Rs. 750, respectively.
