Nagaland NEET UG: A Guide to the Admission Procedure
For admission to undergraduate medical and dentistry programs in India, the National Testing Agency (NTA) administers the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), a national-level medical entrance test. NEET is the only entrance test for MBBS and BDS admission in Nagaland.
The Nagaland Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) oversees the NEET counseling procedure. Two rounds of counseling are undertaken, both of which are done online. Only in the event that there are still open seats after the second round would the third round be held.

The following requirements must be met by applicants in order to be eligible for NEET UG in Nagaland:
They must have completed the 10+2 exam with a minimum of passing grades in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English.
They had to have received an overall grade of at least 50% (45% for candidates with disabilities and 40% for SC/ST candidates).
As on December 31, 2023, they must be at least 17 years old.
They need to reside in Nagaland.
Application Method
Nagaland's NEET UG application procedure is completed online at the NTA website. Between April 1 and May 6, 2023, the NTA website will host the application for NEET UG.
The Nagaland NEET UG application fee is INR 1,500 for SC/ST applicants and INR 2,000 for general/OBC applicants. Online payment options for the application fee include debit, credit, and net banking.
Award List
The candidate's NEET score will be used to create the Nagaland NEET UG merit list. Following the NEET test, the merit list will be posted on the NTA website.

The DoTE Nagaland online counseling procedure will be used to distribute seats for NEET UG in Nagaland. Based on the applicants' NEET scores, college preferences, and category, seats in medical colleges will be assigned.

In Nagaland, there are 200 MBBS seats and 50 BDS seats, respectively.
The Nagaland NEET UG cut-off fluctuates from year to year. However, 550 is generally considered to be the cutoff for MBBS.
