A Guide to the Sikkim NEET UG Admissions Process
For admission to undergraduate medical and dentistry programs in India, the National Testing Agency (NTA) administers the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), a national-level medical entrance test. NEET is the only entrance test Sikkim uses to admit students to MBBS and BDS programs.
The Sikkim Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) oversees the Sikkim NEET counseling procedure. Two rounds of counseling are undertaken, both of which are done online. Only in the event that there are still open seats after the second round would the third round be held.
The following requirements must be met by applicants in order to be eligible for NEET UG in Sikkim:
They must have completed the 10+2 exam with a minimum of passing grades in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English.
