Tamil Nadu MBBS Counselling 2023: Counselling Process
Tamil Nadu MBBS Counselling 2023 is a state Centralized Online Counselling Process. The sole authority to conduct online NEET-UG Counselling 2023 is Directorate of Medical Education i.e. DME, Chennai.
Candidates need to visit the official website at https://ugreg.tnmedicalonline.co.in for registration based on NEET-UG Score 2023. Candidates can apply to MBBS/BDS Courses in various Government/Private medical colleges in the state of Tamil Nadu.
In order to secure an MBBS/BDS seat in Deemed Medical College, Candidates will have to register at https://mcc.nic.in. There are four rounds of counselling from 2021 followed by a stray vacancy round of NEET Counselling 2023 is subject to the availability of MBBS/BDS Seats after the mop-up round.
Admissions to the Medical/Dental/Ayush programs in the colleges of Tamil Nadu are solely based on the NEET 2023 score. Candidates are advised to fill out the application form for Tamil Nadu MBBS Counselling 2023 carefully as they will not be able to edit the details, once the application form is submitted.

State Merit/Rank List:

The provisional Allotment Order is prepared according to the marks obtained in NEET- UG 2023. Candidates can download the allotment letter online from https://tnmedicalselection.org before reporting to the college itself.
Choice Filling and Locking:

Tamilnadu MBBS Counselling 2023 participating candidates need to submit their preference (Course/College) online through the Choice filling.

An OTP needs to be confirmed by the registered mobile number of the candidate.

After locking the choices, the candidate must take a printout of the choices submitted by the candidates for future reference.
Seat Allotment List:
The Selection Committee, Directorate of Medical Education Chennai releases the seat allotment list, which is prepared on the basis of the choices filled by the candidates and ranks in the state merit list. Selected candidates need to report to the allotted institute along with all essential documents within the stipulated date/time.
Reporting to Allotted College:

This is the final event when the candidates need to report to the allotted college with an allotment letter before the last date of admission.

Seats will be considered as confirmed, once the fee payment and verification of documents would have taken place.

Candidates who are allotted seats in Rounds 1 & 2, need to report to the college physically with all required documents, however in Mop up and stray vacancy round, merely payment of fees and downloading the allotment order will be considered as Joining the allotted college itself.

First Round:

Second Round:
From 2023 onwards, no fresh registration is allowed for Tamilnadu NEET-UG Counselling 2023 in the second round of NEET-UG Counselling 2023. Cadnidates who have done registration in the first round shall only be considered in the second round to fill fresh choices in case of non-allotment in the prior round.
Mop-Up Round:
This round of Tamilnadu MBBS Counselling 2023 is the last one followed by the stray vacancy round, and is subject to the availability of seats after the completion of Round 2.
