Panimalar Medical College Hospital & Research Institute is one of the recently established private medical colleges in Chennai. The medical institute is popularly known as PMCH&RI. Panimalar Medical College is a Christian Minority medical institute, dedicated to provide holistic medical education and strives to inculcate the learning in the world class campus spread over 43 acres of lush green area.

Panimalar Medical College Hospital & Research Institute was established in 2020 however, Panimalar Hospital & Research Institute was founded in 2017 itself. PMCH&RI was established and governed by the “Jaisakthi Educational Trust” Chennai. As far as the location of the college is concerned, Panimalar Medical College is located at Varadharajapuram near Chennai, and is well connected by road covering Chennai, Kanchipuram and Thiruvallur districts.

PMCH&RI is recognized by the National Medical Commission (Earlier MCI), New Delhi and approved by MoHFW, Govt. of India. Panimalar Medical College is affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University, Chennai. 

Since PMCH&RI was founded last year in 2020, so currently the academic programs are limited only to MBBS Program at the UG level. Details of admission and fees are being explained in the following article.
