PES Institute of Medical Sciences & Research was inaugrated by none other than the Missile Man of India, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam and then Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Sri Chandrababu Naidu.

The medical college is the brain child of founder chairman, Dr. M.R. Doreswamy. The medical college had been put up along with hospital laden with modern facilities to cater for the rural population. PES Institute of Medical Sciences is the most modern medical college in the Rayalaseema district of Andhra Pradesh, providing education to the budding doctors and state of the art medical health care to the local population and also cater its services to those from bordering districts of Tamilnadu and Karnataka.

PES Institute of Medical Sciences offers MBBS at the Undergraduate level and MD, MS at the Postgraduate level. For MBBS Aspirants:

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English having 50% marks from any recognized board. Candidates from the reserved category need to possess 40% in the same. 
• The Candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st Dec’ 2021. The candidates who do not complete 17 years as on 31st Dec’21 are not eligible.
• Candidates must have qualified NEET-UG with the required percentile. 

For MD/MS Aspirants:

• Candidates must have passed MBBS from a recognized University by the NMC.
• Candidates need to have completed 1 Year of mandatory Internship on or before the 31st of July in the same year of applying.
• Candidates need to produce permanent/provisional registration provided by the NMC (Earlier MCI) or the respective state medical council.

PES Institute of Medical Sciences Kuppam: Admission Process

All the admissions to any of the UG and PG Courses are strictly based on merit gained in the All India Entrance Exam i.e. NEET-UG and NEET-PG for Postgraduate courses. PES Institute of Medical Sciences Kuppam offers MD and MS Courses along with the Superspecialty program.
