Ruxmaniben Deepchand Gardi Medical College is widely known as RD Gardi Medical College, Ujjain. RD Gardi Medical College is the very first private medical college of Madhya Pradesh. The medical college was established in 2001 and since its inception, RDGMC, Ujjain became an integral unit of Ujjain Charitable Trust Hospital & Research Centre, Ujjain.

RDGMC, Ujjain is recognized by the National Medical Commission ( Earlier MCI), New Delhi. The medical college is also been approved to carry out Academic programs by MoHFW, Govt. of India.

RD Gardi Medical College, Ujjain: Eligibility Criteria

RD Gardi Medical College, Ujjain is known for imparting Advanced medical education at distinct levels i.e. UG and PG at the Postgraduate level. Students who are seeking admission to RDGMC, Ujjain needs to qualify All India Entrance Test followed by State Medical Counselling and MCC Counselling for AIQ.

For MBBS Aspirants:

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English having 50% marks from any recognized board. Candidates from the reserved category need to possess 40% in the same. 
• Candidates need to attain 17 years of age. Less than mentioned age will not be entertained in any circumstances.
• Candidates must have qualified NEET-UG with the required percentile. 

For MD/MS Aspirants:

• Candidates must have passed MBBS from a recognized University by the NMC.
• Candidates need to have completed 1 Year of mandatory Internship on or before 31st of March in the same year of applying.
• Candidates need to produce permanent/provisional registration provided by the NMC (Earlier MCI) or the respective state medical council.
• Candidates need to obtain a minimum of 50 percentile in NEET-PG for General Category and for reserved category, the requirement is 40 percentile in the same.

RD Gardi Medical College, Ujjain: Admission Process

All the admissions to the UG and PG Courses are strictly based on merit gained in the All India Entrance Exam. NEET i.e. National Eligibility Entrance Test is conducted twice a year by NTA (National Testing Agency) to provide admission to RDGMC, Ujjain. RD Gardi Medical College, Ujjain offers MBBS and MD/MS in several Clinical and Para-Clinical specializations.

RD Gardi Medical College, Ujjain: Seat Matrix for Distinct Quotas

As per the collective guidelines of NMC and Directorate of Medical Education, Madhya Pradesh, RDGMC, Ujjain offers admission in distinct quotas in the Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in the college itself.

There is a High Court, Jabalpur judgment in 2016, according to which, 85% seats are reserved for state quota only and candidates not having domicile of MP can only claim 15% of seats in the Management/NRI category. Orders are prevailing to MBBS Program. Additionally, 30% of seats in the state quota are reserved for female candidates. RD Gardi Medical College, Ujjain offers Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery. The degree conferred by the RDGMC, Ujjain is approved by National Medical Commission, New Delhi. 

The MBBS course in RDGMC, Ujjain is 5.5 years long including 1 year of mandatory internship. Candidates seeking admission to MBBS in RDGMC, Ujjain need to qualify NEET-UG followed by the Counselling conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education, Madhya Pradesh. 

All rounds of counseling are held online. Candidates per secured rank in NEET-UG will be able to acquire a seat and then need to report to the college with essential documents.

RD Gardi Medical College, Ujjain: MD/MS Admission Process
