Smt. B.K. Shah Medical Institute and Research Centre is popularly known as SBKS Medical Institute is one of the leading medical colleges in Vadodara. This Medical Institute is a constituent unit of Sumandeep Vidyapeeth a deemed university in Vadodara Gujarat. 

SBKS College Vadodara was established in 2003, and later in 2007, Sumandeep Vidyapeeth University was conferred with deemed status by the UGC New Delhi. The college has also been accredited with ‘A’ grade by NAAC. SBKS Medical Institute has also been recognized by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India.
