Smt. Kashibai Navale Medical College is one of the largest and premier medical institutions based in Pune, in the state of Maharashtra. This medical college is popularly referred as SKNMC, Pune precisely located at Ambegaon, Pune. SKNMC, Pune was established in Sep 2007 and was founded by Sinhgad Technical Education Society established by president Prof. M.N. Navale and named after his mother, Professor K.N. Navale. Eligibility Criteria

Smt. Kashibai Navale Medical College & Hospital, Pune offers MBBS at the Undergraduate level and MD, MS at the Postgraduate level. SKNMC, Pune is a privately established medical Institution in the state facilitating with appropriate reservation as per the order mentioned by DMER, Mumbai. To secure a seat in MBBS and PG Courses in SKNMC, Pune, the candidates need to hold certain eligibility criteria which are discussed below.

For MBBS Aspirants:

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English having 50% marks from any recognized board. Candidates from the reserved category need to possess 40% in the same. 
• Candidates need to attain 17 years of age till 31st of Dec. Less than mentioned age will not be entertained in any circumstances.
• Candidates must have qualified NEET-UG with the required percentile. 

For MD/MS Aspirants:

• Candidates must have passed MBBS from a recognized University by the NMC.
• Candidates need to have completed 1 Year of mandatory Internship on or before 31st of March in the same year of applying.
• Candidates need to produce permanent/provisional registration provided by the NMC (Earlier MCI) or the respective state medical council.
• Candidates need to obtain a minimum of 50 percentile in NEET-PG for General Category and reserved category, the requirement is 40 percentile in the same.

Admission Process:

All the admissions to any of the UG and PG Courses in SKNMC, Pune are strictly based on merit gained in the All India Entrance Exam i.e. NEET-UG and NEET-PG for Postgraduate courses. Smt. The present form of the hospital initially acquired its status in 2006 with just 300 beds and 25 ICU ward beds but later gradually the hospital transformed to a Multi-Specialty treatment center and expand its capacity to 1094 beds with 840 teaching beds, 80 ICU beds, 40 Casualty beds and 48 Recovery beds in OT.
