Surabhi Institute of Medical Sciences is one of the newest private medical colleges in the state of Telangana. The medical college is located in Siddipet district of Telangana. SIMS Siddipet was established in 2019 as a private and funded medical institute by the Surabhi Educational Trust.

Eligibility Criteria

To secure a seat in MBBS and PG Courses at Surabhi Institute of Medical Sciences Siddipet, the candidates need to hold certain eligibility criteria which are discussed below.

For MBBS Aspirants:

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English having 50% marks from any recognized board. Candidates from the reserved category need to possess 40% in the same. 
• Candidates need to attain 17 years of age. Less than mentioned age will not be entertained under any circumstances.
• Candidates must have qualified NEET-UG with the required percentile.
• Category ‘A’ seats and local seats of Category ‘B’ in SIMS Siddipet are only allotted to the domicile candidates of Telangana. 

Admission Process

All the admissions to any of the UG and PG Courses are strictly based on merit gained in the All-India Entrance Exam i.e. NEET-UG and NEET-PG for Postgraduate courses. Surabhi Institute of Medical Sciences offers Clinical and Para-Clinical Programs in certain specialties. 

Students who wish to take admission to this college, need to obtain the required percentile in NEET followed by the counselling conducted by Kaloji Narayanrao University of Health Sciences Warangal. As per Govt. of Telangana orders, and guidelines set by the Kaloji Narayanrao University of Health Sciences Warangal. Total MBBS seats are classified into Category A, B and C. Cat ‘A’ (Convenor Quota) stands for the local candidates of Telangana state, and Cat ‘B’ is for Management seats, Lastly Cat ‘C’ is for the NRI Quota seats, in which 15% seats are reserved as per the guidelines of NMC New Delhi.
