Tamralipto Government Medical College & Hospital is one of the recently established medical colleges in the Purba Medinipur district of West Bengal. The medical college is popularly referred to as TGMCH Tamluk. Established in 2022 under the CSS Scheme of the Central Government. TGMCH Tamluk is located in the heart of the city of Tamluk in the Purba Medinipur district of West Bengal. The medical college is spread over 25 acres of campus with advanced medical facilities and ultra-modern hospital infrastructure.

As far as the academic programs are concerned, TGMCH Tamluk is currently imparting the MBBS program to 100 students every session. Since TGMCH Tamluk is a government medical college based in the Tamluk city of Purba Medinipur district of West Bengal, hence only state-domicile candidates shall be considered for state quota seats under 85% state quota. Apart from that, All India Quota candidates can only get admission to TGMCH Tamluk through 15% of AIQ seats. Eligibility Criteria for Admission to TGMCH Tamluk

Tamralipto Government Medical College Tamluk is known for its advanced MBBS course imparted at the undergraduate level. There are certain eligibility criteria formulated by the collective guidelines of NMC New Delhi and WBUHS Kolkata. Domicile Candidates of West Bengal need to participate in the counselling conducted by WBMCC. For MBBS Candidates:

Candidates need to provide a domicile certificate stamped and signed by the competent authority. Candidates can download the domicile certificate proforma from https://wbmcc.nic.in.

Candidates need to qualify for NEET-UG 2023 with the required percentile.

Candidates need to have passed 12th with 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English. Reserved category candidates need to possess 40% of the same.

Candidates need to attain 17 years of age by 31st Dec in the same year of applying. Less than mentioned age shall not be considered under any circumstances.
