1. Indian Institute of Technology ,Bombay 

IIT Bombay abbreviated as Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay is one of the Top Technical Institutions of India and Ranked 2 as per NIRF Rankings. IIT-B was established in 1957 and declared as the ‘Institute of National Importance by the Indian Parliament in 1961. The Institute is situated in Powai, at the capital of Maharashtra, Mumbai. The college is currently imparting Undergraduate, Dual Degree, Postgraduate, and Doctoral degrees in a number of technical disciplines which are being discussed further in the article.

2.Visvesvarya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur

Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, popularly known as VNIT is one of the 31 NITs in the country. This Engineering  College was formerly known as Visvesvaraya Regional College of Engineering at the time of establishment in 1960. Later in 2002, it is renamed as VNIT and declared as an Institute of National Importance by NIT Act, 2007. VNIT is one of the premier  Technical Institutions in the country and well approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education). VNIT is ranked 18 as per NIRF Rankings 2021 on All India Basis. The Institute is located in Nagpur in the state of Maharashtra and unlike IITs, admission can be secured by qualifying JEE Mains for 4 year B.Tech Programs.

3.College of Engineering, Pune

The College of Engineering, Pune is popularly known as COEP is one of the oldest Technical Institutions in Asia. the college was established in 1854 and since its inception, the institute is public-owned and Autonomous in nature. COEP is recognised by the UGC, AICTE and well approved by NBA i.e. National Board of Accreditation. Presently the college is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University. This is one of the most reputed Engineering colleges in the country which has been ranked 21 on All India Basis as per NIRF Rankings 2021. Currently, COEP confers B.Tech, M.Tech, and Ph.D. at distinct levels. Admissions to this leading Engineering College can be certainly secured by JEE Mains and MHT CET.

4. Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering, Pune

Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering, based in Pune is one of the most reputed and premier technical institutions in Maharashtra and in the country as well. The college is popularly known as BVCOE, Pune, and has been a constituent unit of Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), approved by AICTE, UGC, and NBA. 6. University Institute of Chemical Technology, Jalgaon

North Maharashtra University Institute of Chemical Technology is one of the most reputed Engineering Colleges in the state of Maharashtra precisely located in Jalgaon. 8. Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute, Mumbai

The Engineering College mentioned was initially refers as Victoria Jubilee Technical Institute that was established in 1887 literally in the late 19th century. The engineering college was renamed Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute, popularly known as VJTI, to honor the revered mother of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in 1997. VJTI is a publicly owned Institute and one of the institutes selected by the government of India for development in Engineering Education post-independence with grant-in-aid from the central government. As per NIRF Rankings, VJTI has secured 84 ranks on the All India Basis. 9.K.K. Wagh Institute of Engineering Education and Research, Nashik

K.K. Wagh Institute of Engineering Education and Research is one of the Top reputed private Engineering Institutes in central Maharashtra and as per NIRF Rankings, the college has secured 85th Rank in the country. K.K. Wagh Institute of Engineering Education and Research is a constituent unit of K.K. 10.Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering & Management, Nagpur

Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering & Management is one of the leading Technical Education Centres located in Nagpur in the state of Maharashtra. The institute was established in 1984 by Shri Ramdeobaba Sarvajanik Samiti and since the inception of this college, it has been affiliated to Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaja Nagpur University. The college is popularly known as SRCEM, Nagpur and recognised by AICTE, UGC and graded ‘A’ by NAAC i.e. National Assessment and Accreditation Council, New Delhi. Government College of Engineering based in Aurangabad in the state of Maharashtra is one of the prominent technical institutions in the country. The college is a government-owned educational institute which is currently having an Autonomous status. As per NIRF Rankings, the college has secured 97 Rank on All India Basis. Govt. College of Engineering, Aurangabad is recognised by AICTE, UGC, and the Government of Maharashtra. The college is affiliated to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University. The college was established in 1960 and currently, the college offers B.E. and M.E. at distinct levels in a number of technical disciplines.
